Don’t forget to buy your tickets for the 10th Annual Bonfire Night which will place next Saturday 3rd November on Ward’s Field, starting at 6pm. Early bird tickets will only remain available until Friday 2nd November. After that there will only be a limited supply on the gate, so hurry, get yours before it’s too late!
Ticket prices: adults: £6, children: £3, family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children): £16, U4s: free.
There are also a limited number of anniversary edition posters designed by talented local artist, Fay Ford (www.fayford.com) available for £5. They make a great memento of what has become a much loved village event and all profits will go towards local projects and organisations.
As well as a big, beautiful bonfire, there will be fantastic fireworks (the budget has been blown this year to celebrate 10 years), GG’s Garden Bar, mulled wine, barbecue, Sweet Treats and Glow Items. And The Plough has donated a wonderful prize for the winner of the Guy Fawkes Competition.
If you can contribute wood for the bonfire, either take it Ward’s Field on the morning of the event or contact Ben Osmond to arrange collection (07799 898506 / firstname.lastname@example.org).
This event is brought to you by Long Wittenham Parish Council and supported by the Wittenham Warriors.
