Sires Hill Closure Update

On 8th February it was reported here that the roadworks on Sires Hill are being carried out in four phases, starting at the Wallingford Road end and progressing towards the Didcot Road.  The fourth phase will be the section of Sires Hill from the junction with Didcot Road to the junction with Lady Grove as shown on this map.

As this phase may take place while the Clifton Hampden Bridge is closed in March, the Parish Council has been in communication with the Traffic Regulations Team at Oxfordshire County Council and has been advised that the road will not be fully closed and traffic signals will be used.

Instalcom, the contractor doing the works, has also agreed to advise the Parish Council in advance of the phase starting.  Details will be posted here when known.

For more information, contact the Traffic Regulations Team on 0345 310 1111 quoting reference T8396/AC.
