The Cabinet Member for Highway Management at Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) approved the 20mph speed limit for the village on Thursday 18th November.
See the details of the decision on the OCC website.
Mark Francis, the Technical Officer for Traffic & Road Safety at OCC is now looking to implement the scheme as soon as possible. The Parish Council has suggested that this might be timed to co-incide with the Vanderbilt work on the Didcot Road to build new traffic calming and zebra crossing which is expected to take place in January, so as to minimise disruption.
Cuxham has become the first pilot site in South Oxfordshire to implement the 20mph speed limit, as reported on the OCC News website.
