EMERGENCY PLAN
The Parish Council’s Emergency Plan will provide the basic framework for a co-ordinated local response in the event of widespread and/or prolonged emergencies. Such emergencies can include extreme weather, major traffic or transport accident, prolonged loss of electricity and influenza epidemic. The plan is being designed to be a self-help guide to the resources available within the community for support in a crisis, and the particular procedures to be followed for specific crises, especially if the emergency services or relevant local authority support is delayed due to the scope and nature of the emergency.
