PLANT SALE! The Church plant sale is on 7th May at 10.30am in the Village Hall.
As you plant your vegetable and flower seeds or grow new plants for your garden, can I ask you to pot up a few extra for the annual Church Bring and Buy Plant Sale? Popular veg items are: courgettes, runner beans, tomatoes, herbs, sweetcorn, peppers/aubergine/chillies. Popular plants are: bedding plants, plants for tubs – like geraniums and begonias, fruiting plants – like strawberries and raspberries etc. Anything for the border is always popular too.
Bring your plants along to the hall on the day – if you can’t then drop Rose Gill an email (rose.gill@redpony.co.uk) and she'll arrange collection. If anyone has a couple of hours to spare on the day we are looking for people to help sell – no gardening knowledge required!!!

EVELEGH'S GARDEN OPEN DAY as part of the National Gardens Scheme, Sunday 29th May 2-6pm. Come and wander around the ¾ acre garden, leading down to the River Thames.  Usually roses, peonies, delphiniums, iris as well as many other plants and shrubs. Entry to garden £3.50 for over 16s.  Sorry no dogs. Also Plant Sale, WI teas, art exhibition, supporting village charities. Parking outside house for disabled.
