Wittenham Warriors Charity Event
Come along and enjoy a very pleasant Summer’s evening full of fun, food and frivolity, meeting old friends and making new ones. It is a great opportunity to join in if you are new to the village.
The format will be:
7.00pm – Meet in the village hall for a drink and chat.
7.30pm – Leave for starter course in your host’s house. You will be given details about where you are going when you arrive at the village hall.
8.30pm – Leave your starter course host and go to a different venue for the main course (details from your starter course host).
10.00pm – Tear yourselves away from your main course host to meet up with all participants of the evening at the final location where you will be dazzled with a choice of scrumptious desserts, tea, coffee, donations bar, and raffle.
Safari Suppers in the past have proved to be really enjoyable evenings and if you haven’t been before, please do come, as it is always great to see new faces.
If you have attended in the past you won’t need much persuasion.
As usual the success of the event relies on quite a few people offering to host a course. Hosts can choose how many people they want to cater for – it’s usually between 6 and 10 (including yourselves) plus they will be given a number of bottles of wine.
Tickets are £23 each and that includes supper and a couple of glasses of wine, music, tea and coffee.
Cheques payable to The Wittenham Warriors.

All profits as in previous years will be split between the Rotary Club of Abingdon Dragon Boat Race 2017, supporting local & national charities and our village charity Wittenham Warriors supporting local causes in the village (in previous years we have contributed to the new school playground and the apple press at the Sylva Wood Foundation).
