Don’t forget that this year’s Long Wittenham School Fayre will take place on Saturday 12th May between noon and 3:00pm.
There will be Maypole dancing and the crowning of the May Queen as well as a Grand National race, traditional games & stalls, the church plant sale, beer tent, barbecue and lots more.
The raffle is sponsored by PMS Oxford with fun family prizes.

Hi is this being held at the school ? There seems to be a lot going on and as i know there is very limited outdoor space at the school i wondered if it might be at the plough? Also has parking been arranged for the event as parking in the vicinity to the school causes havoc? Is this to raise money for the school and the Church?

Yes it’s being held at the school. It is every year and it’s to raise monies for the school. The church come to sell plants to raise there own funds. The brownies are coming too. It’s a real community event. Parking is always a problem and we do our best to keep everyone happy and if there’s a problem that needs resolving, we can shout something out an announcement.
