Can I suggest you post something on the Long Wittenham Facebook page. That will get more widely read across the village.

      Regards

    Dear All,

My name is Alison Mountain and I am the new Headteacher at Long Wittenham Primary School.

Does anyone have any history about our school (previous Headteachers and staff etc)? I’d really love to gather information and share it with the children so that we can celebrate how lucky we are to have such a lot of history surrounding us all.

    Many thanks.

The Long Wittenham History Group’s booklets “The Chronicle” have lots of information about the village. Chronicle No.6 has an article about the village school.

The booklets have recently been digitised and put on this website – see “History Group Publications” under “Clubs & Groups”.
