County Council Election

The new Oxfordshire County Councillor for Long Wittenham is Dr Pete Sudbury who won the Wallingford seat for the Green Party yesterday, taking 40.9% of the total vote.

The Conservative candidate Adrian Lloyd came second with 31.0%, the Independent Elaine Hornsby came third with 19.8%, and the Labour Party candidate, George Kneeshaw came fourth with a share of 8.3%.

The village was previously represented by Lynda Atkins who stood as an Independent.
