Didcot Road Traffic Calming Revised Plan Consultation

Residents will remember that in January 2020, Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) Highways consulted on plans to install a new zebra crossing and to move the pinch-point traffic calming feature on Didcot Road to facilitate the Vanderbilt housing development.

OCC has now revised the plans. The zebra crossing is unchanged but the pinch-point is now a build-out giving priority to traffic exiting the village.  The build-out will include a cycle bypass lane.

This is the original plan.  And this is the revised plan.  Please note that the amended plan does not show the cycle bypass lane.

OCC are seeking views on the revised plan.  You can send your comments to Jane Clark, (Traffic & Road Safety Officer) at jane.clark@oxfordshire.gov.uk.  The consultation ends on Friday 21st May 2021.
