Diversity and Inclusion Strategy Survey

South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) is asking people to share their views on how it can make it easier for people with different needs to access its services, support and information.

In doing so, residents can help to create a new Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.  Its purpose is to lay out how the council will go further than just its legal requirements to help people access its services in the best way possible for their needs.

The council wants everyone to say what would help them most when they interact with it.  Residents may contact the councils about a wide variety of services, such as finding out about bin collections, council tax queries, housing or financial support and guidance on submitting a planning application.

The short survey is available until Monday 19th September at:

  1. Ann Tomline says:

Make it easier for the public to contact the Council Not all use the internet and getting through by phone is confusing as constant buttons to press and anyone who doesn’t have English as their first language may find this confusing. Visit if necessary for people who cannot access the office .Be prompt with replies to enquires don’t presume that everyone understands what is required. Offer help when you are able to or direct to where help can be aquired.
