Dog Club Up and Walking

The Long Wittenham Dog Club is now underway with around thirty people registered so far.  Note that it is not a pre-requisite to have a dog to join the group.  There have been two organised walks so far – thanks to Sally Duff and Rob Calcutt for leading these.

The next walk is on Friday 11th June and David Corney will be leading that one.  Let him know (see contact details below) if you are interested.  These are sociable events, enjoyable in themselves, as well as being useful to find new dog walk locations.

Tim Read from the Earth Trust will be giving the first talk to the group on Tuesday 15th June.  Tim will give a broad overview on the trust’s work, its current projects and will also kick off “the big dog poo debate”.  This talk will be over Zoom, but it is hoped that future meetings can be in person.  Contact David Corney if you want to join this talk and subsequent discussion.
