Enrych Oxfordshire

The Parish Council has been asked to promote the charity Enrych Oxfordshire which supports adults with physical disabilities to escape isolation and loneliness, by taking part in leisure and learning activities through our volunteer befriending service.

The last year has been particularly difficult for people with disabilities and many of the adults that the charity is meeting have had little to no contact with others and have struggled to leave the house unaided.  It’s also been a particularly challenging time for the charity to promote its services and to recruit volunteers.

Enrych is in desperate need of volunteers at the moment.  It is looking for people who would be willing to spend up to an hour a week befriending one of our members and taking part in an activity with them.

If you, or anyone you know might be suitable, or would like to know more, please contact Joel Draper at joel.draper@enrych.org.uk or call 07707 030220.

I have volunteered for them for over ten years and have made good friends through it. Joel is brilliant and carefully matches people. He is also there should any problems occur. If anyone is interested in volunteering for them and would like to discuss it with me I can be contacted on 01865 407377.
