Armistice Day – Wednesday 11th November 10.55am

Prayers and Wreath-laying at the Village War Memorial

This year there are conditions imposed by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

“Where members of the public do attend, they must only attend the event with their own household or those in their support bubble, or one other person . . . . . and observe social distancing rules.”.

This means that only those directly involved may gather at the Memorial.  It is suggested that anyone wishing to observe, gathers on the verge opposite the Memorial, outside the Vine and Spice.  Please wear face masks and maintain social distancing.

The regulations require that names and contact details of those attendingare recorded for Track and Trace purposes.  These details are kept for 21 days and then destroyed.
