“Rogation Sunday” is an old English tradition when people would move around their parish asking for God’s blessing, particularly on the crops (‘Rogation’ from the Latin ‘rogare’ ‘to ask’).

This tradition will be followed on Sunday, starting in Church with a simple breakfast at 9.15am and then at 9.30am moving around representative parts of the village: a workshop, a garden, the community orchard, a meadow and finally the school – with readings, prayers and hymns.

Please come along and make this a community event.
