For some 900 years St Mary’s Church has stood in our village and over the centuries villagers have been baptised, married and buried here. For 900 years God has been worshiped here on major festivals and ordinary Sundays and weekdays.
The Second Sunday after Trinity Sunday, June 25th, is traditionally kept as “Feast Sunday” when we celebrate the anniversary of the Dedication of the Church to Mary, Mother of Jesus with a special service of Parish Communion at 9.30am to which everyone is invited.
