The annual village fireworks night was held last week but with a different organiser and location from previous years.
It took place on Friday 4th November at the home of Long Wittenham Athletics Club at Bodkin’s Field with a display of fireworks followed by a bonfire. An estimated crowd of four to five hundred people attended.
Organiser Steve Bolton said they were “very pleased” with the public’s support. He said the fireworks were low-noise with a rating of four or less because they were conscious of horses in nearby paddocks.
It was excellent & lovely to see the little ones enjoying themselves.. Thanks to all involved.
It was a very enjoyable evening. Thank you to all involved.
