The Environment Agency Flood Warning System has issued a flood alert for the Abingdon area of the River Thames.
The area affected covers the Thames from Abingdon down to and including Little Wittenham.

The alert means that flooding is possible and that local water levels and weather conditions should be monitored. Residents are warned to avoid using low lying footpaths or entering areas prone to flooding.
