Headington School Boathouse

Richard Couzens, the Bursar of Headington School, attended last Thursday’s Parish Council meeting to update the council on the progress of the boathouse being built on The Maddy.

Despite some problems, he is hopeful that the project will be completed by September.

Residents were also present at the meeting to ask if the facilities will be made available to the community.  Mr Couzens said that, although it is too early to make any commitments, he is confident that some form of access will be possible when the pupils are not using it.

He hopes to hold an event at the site later in the year to allow residents to see the development.
