The Wittenhams Community Orchard will be opened by Sarah Taylor, High Sherriff of Oxfordshire on Thursday 23rd March at 2pm.
An open invitation is extended to everyone in the local community. Cropsharers, funders and our supporters have been invited. All children from Long Wittenham Primary School will be present and hopefully many parents too.
Having conducted the opening Mrs Taylor wants to meet those involved in its creation, planting and support, and to learn more about what the orchard means to local people.
Please wear warm and waterproof clothing as appropriate.
