The Parish Council has been advised that Kler’s planning application to realign the Didcot Road to facilitate the entrance to the site of their housing development on the corner of Fieldside and Didcot Road will be considered by South Oxfordshire District Council’s (SODC) Planning Committee on Wednesday 17th October. The meeting starts at 6pm at Didcot Civic Hall, Britwell Road, Didcot, OX11 7JN.
Unfortunately the planning officer’s recommendation to the committee is to grant planning permission, but we can only hope that common sense prevails when the committee examines the issues.
Councillor Steve Brown will be putting the case against the application at the meeting on behalf of the Parish Council and residents are encourage to attend to show support.
Residents can also address the committee but there is only five minutes for everyone so it would be best to organise a speaker on your joint behalf.
