Dear Residents,
There is a current planning application for up to 36 houses on the field at the Didcot Road corner of Fieldside. This application has been made on behalf of developers Kler. The Parish Council and approximately 80 residents have formally objected to SODC.
We appreciate your ongoing help and support. We were expecting the Kler application to be heard on 10th August. However the agenda has just been published and Kler is not on it. I have also checked with the case officer and it will not be decided until September.
The next scheduled meeting is 7th September but the agenda is already very busy.
This gives us more time to prepare our case and as it is after the close of the Neighbourhood Plan public consultation, more weight can be given to the NP.
I will write again when I have a new date. Thank you to everyone supporting the PC on this case.
