Residents are reminded that local elections will take place on 4th May, and to vote at a polling station you must take valid photo ID with you.
This is a new requirement introduced by the UK Government. If you do not have the accepted photo ID, you need to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate which is free of charge.

Please note: if you need to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate, you must do so by 5pm on 25th April.
