Local Elections Thursday 6th May

Residents will be aware that local elections will take place tomorrow (Thursday 6th May).

In Long Wittenham we have two elections: Police & Crime Commissioner for the Thames Valley Police, and County Councillor for the Wallingford division.

You are reminded that, in line with Covid regulations stated on your poll card, when voting at the Village Hall you must wear a face covering and take your own pen or pencil.

There are full details of all the elections on the South Oxfordshire District Council website.

One Response to Local Elections Thursday 6th May

Judging by what has come through my letterbox so far (12.30 Wednesday) we have two candidates standing as Councillors and one as Police Commissioner. How can I vote for anyone who does not provide me with details of their policies, what they hope to achieve, or even their name?
