Mental Health Support

Oxfordshire residents are being reminded of the help on hand to support them during difficult times of their lives.

One in four people will experience some form of mental distress during their lifetime, and the holiday season is traditionally a difficult time for many.

Three local Oxfordshire organisations provide confidential, trustworthy advice and support:

(1) Response’s Mental Wealth Academy supports those aged 18 to 25 years old: www.response.org.uk/mental-wealth-academy.

(2) Oxford Health NHS mental health helpline is available 24 hours. Find out more on the Oxford Health NHS website.

(3) Mental health services for adults and older adults: www.talkingspaceplus.org.uk.

Residents can also find out more about where to get help, information and support for mental health and wellbeing in Oxfordshire by visiting the Oxfordshire County Council website.
