Neighbourhood Plan Update

Following the successful Neighbourhood Plan referendum in July, the Plan was presented to the Planning Commitee of South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) last week.

The committee passed the Plan and so it is now officially ‘made’.  This means that the policies included in the Plan must be taken into account for any planning application within the parish that is submitted to SODC.

The project to build the new Community Hub, including the new school, pre school and village hall, can now proceed.  The Parish Council met with the developers, Thomas Homes, last week to view the latest plans.  These are nearly complete and have taken into account the views of residents expressed at the last village consultation.  In particular, the plans include a roundabout at the entrance to Saxons Heath, and the original school building and village hall will be kept and converted into houses.

There are still one or two technicalities to be ironed out before a planning application can be submitted.  As soon as these are resolved, the final plans will be presented to the village.

It will certainly change your picture above, you had better change it or draw a few houses on it. Won’t even be able to see the Clumps!!!!. Wish it could all be cancelled personally, the houses opposite are enough for this village.
