Residents who are accustomed to taking a regular constitutional around the environs of the village may have notice that a new footbridge has been built over the ditch on West Field. It is on the footpath that runs from Saxon’s Heath to the Appleford Road (see map below).
The Parish Council was not advised that this was going to happen but we assume that the new bridge has been erected by the county council, as it has been labelled as part of the official footpath.
