Residents at the western end of the village will be pleased to hear that the noticeboard at the end of concrete Fieldside has been replaced.
The original noticeboard was donated by the WI over twenty years ago, and it was showing its age and was very rickety.
The Parish Council purchased the new board. It has a perspex cover which should help to protect notices from the weather.
People putting up notices are requested to only use drawing pins so as not to damage the cork surface.
