OCC Budget Consultation

On 14th February 2023, Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) will meet to agree its budget for the next financial year.

The council is facing a significant funding shortfall of at least £44 million in 2023-24.  It is asking residents, businesses and others for their views on its budget proposals.

The online Survey and supporting consultation booklet is on the OCC website.  The consultation is open until 19th December.  See the flyer below.

One Response to OCC Budget Consultation

    My comments on the budget
A complete overhaul is needed of OCC looking at the money that has been wasted and how can the Council bring more services in house using the staff they have more efficiently not waste money in paying outside consultants large fees.. Depts need to work together in a more Coproductive way . Cut the money spent on placing box’s around to block roads pushing more traffic on to fewer roads there’s no evidence that this brings down pollution. Only excellent low cost bus services will take cars off the road.
Concentrate more money into Social care which actually helps people in the County.
As I have seen in other Consultations the Council doesn’t actually listen but ignore and follow their own political policies.
