Oxfordshire Libraries Click & Collect

Although the Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) library service is currently unable to open libraries for browsing, it is offering a new free service for customers of all ages who are interested in a new way to explore books and reading during lockdown.

To access the service, residents need to complete a short online form available on the council’s website, telling the library what sort of books they like to read and how many they would like.

Experienced and knowledgeable library staff will handpick up to six books that fit the interests and preferences given.  There is even an option to select a surprise extra book – maybe something a little bit different.

The service also covers audiobooks and DVDs, although charges may apply for these.  The service user will be notified when the books are ready for collection at one of the fourteen participating libraries.

More details on the OCC website.
