Parish Council Confirms Objection to Lady Grove Development

Residents may remember that plans to build one hundred and seventy-six houses on a site to the east of the B4016 Lady Grove were rejected by South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) in October last year.  The Parish Council had objected to the proposals.  SODC’s decision was reported here:

The Parish Council has been advised by SODC that Manor Oak Homes, the applicant, has appealed the decision and this will be considered at an enquiry by the Planning Inspectorate.  Manor Oak Homes has since amended the plans to reduce the number of houses to one hundred and fifty.  The Parish Council has written to the Planning Inspectorate confirming its objection to both the original and amended plans.

The outcome of the enquiry will be reported here in due course.
