Residents will have noticed the epidemic of potholes on the High Street. The Parish Council is reporting them to Oxfordshire County Council Highways Department as and when they are noted, but they are likely to be dealt with more quickly if other people report them as well.
This is easy to do on www.FixMyStreet.com: go to the website, identify the location of the pothole on the map, and fill out the details. It’s also possible to upload a photograph of the offending cavity and that will carry more weight.
I have reported them including the ones in Fieldside which were marked with white paint last year and then nothing else happened. Also it is fairly obvious that most of them are old ones which were not mended properly and have therefore re-appeared. I.e. do a proper job this time!!
