As apples swell and ripen all over the village, residents will want to put Saturday 13th October in their diaries so as not to miss this year’s Village Apple Day at the Sylva Wood Centre, organised by the Wittenham Warriors.
This will be the third annual Village Apple Day and it is hoped that it will be as successful as the first two which produced bumper quantities of apple juice, as well as being interesting and fun days for all who came along.
