OCC have said after their “polite request” for drivers not to block the cycle lanes was ignored they will paint double yellow lines instead. Whether it makes any difference we will see, but hopefully is might make things easier for drivers as well now the lanes are narrower. Now Lady Grove is reopened drivers coming head to head from different directions seems to have resumed.
Apparently they won’t be painted until Spring whilst the legal niceties are sorted out.
