The Parish Council has been informed by Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) Highways Department that Sires Hill will be closed for approximately five days from Monday 22nd July 2019. This is to facilitate carriageway patching works.
Limited access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles and for frontages within the closed section of road, subject to the progress of the works.
The suggested alternative route is the A4130 west to Long Wittenham Road crossroads, Long Wittenham Road north to its junction with Sires Hill and vice versa. See this map for details.
