Some Enchanted Evening

Residents who were lucky enough to get a ticket for Opera Anywhere’s performance of The Pirates of Penzance at St Mary’s Church last May, will remember the wonderful singing of the female soloists.

Three of the Opera Anywhere sopranos have formed their own operatic group called Sorelle and The Friends of St Mary’s have booked them to perform at St Mary’s on the evening of Saturday 7th December.  Their winter concert entitled Some Enchanted Evening promises to be a magical event celebrating the witches, fairies and enchantresses of opera and musical theatre.

As well as an evening of delightful music, there will also be a table of homemade Christmas food and gifts for members of the audience to purchase.

Tickets (£10 adult / £5 child) are available on-line at www.sorellesingers.com or from Dom Jarman at dominic.jarman@btinternet.com or call 01865 407416.
