Village Speed Limit Boundaries

At the Parish Council meeting on 10th February, the council discussed and agreed that it would apply to Oxfordshire County Council to extend the boundaries of the village speed limits.

The council believes that if the speed limits outside the boundaries of the 20mph zone are reduced, vehicles will be more likely to observe the 20mph limit when it is encountered.  It will also make the installation of certain physical traffic calming measures, such as speed humps, possible where currently they would not be allowed.
