Village Spring Swapshop & Litter Pick

Do you have items you no longer need that are clean and reusable?  Are there items that you would find useful to have?  Would you like your village to be a clean and tidier place?  Then come along to the Village Spring Swapshop and Litter Pick which will take place next Saturday 21st April at Long Wittenham Village Hall from 10am till noon.

Swapshop: This has been setup to encourage the passing on of unwanted items to a good home and/or picking up something useful.  Most things that are non-hazardous, clean and genuinely reusable are welcome.  No money changes hands.  There will be a box for those who would like to make a donation to a local cause.

What can you bring?

  • New and used tools
  • Household articles & gadgets
  • Small portable mains electric items (in working order with CE mark & all necessary cables)
  • Garden equipment
  • Adult bicycles
  • Books, DVD’s & CD’s
  • Adult clothing
  • Pictures & ornaments
  • Curtains & soft furnishings
  • Small items of furniture
  • Sports equipment

Please note: Children’s items – clothes, toys, bikes etc cannot be accepted. Keep them for the PreSchool Sale.
