Volunteers for Remuneration Panel

South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) is looking for volunteers to join a panel to help set district councillors’ allowances.  They are asking people to give up a few hours to help make sure councillors get recompensed for their time and also give value for money.

Volunteers would need to attend two or three meetings early this year at the SODC offices in Milton Park, near Didcot.  The role would last until September 2023, although after the initial review of allowances, there will be very little extra work.  It is a voluntary post, although travelling expenses will be paid.

One Response to Volunteers for Remuneration Panel

I think they should be able to claim travel expenses like the volunteers you are expecting to carry out this process. No more no less.
