Maundy Thursday Service

ST MARY’S CHURCH

 

MAUNDY THURSDAY 6th April 7pm to 7:30pm

 

This evening there will be a special service in Church when we

 remember the last meal Jesus shared 

with the friends who had gone with him to Jerusalem.

 

We will pray for Jerusalem today, for Israel and Palestine, 

and for all places where distrust, hatred and fear 

blights the lives of children, women and men.

We will end with a short act of sharing bread and wine,

 just as Jesus and his friends shared: 

a sign of commitment to peace 

in a circle of healing and love.

 

Prayers for Peace, for Hope and for new beginnings.
