If you are not busy on Saturday 25th February between 9.30am and noon, your village needs you.

Volunteers are wanted to come along to the village hall where you will be provided with hi-viz jackets, gloves, rubbish bags and litter pickers.

You choose an area of the village that you would like to “litter pick”.  The rubbish is returned to the village hall and you will be rewarded with tea and cake, plus the pleasure of knowing you have had a part in keeping our village loooking beautiful.

If anyone would like to do refreshments for the volunteers, please get in touch (homemade cakes go down well).

The Pound is the piece of village green space by the speed-hump near the church and is in need of a little TLC before the Spring bulbs appear.  Nothing arduous: a bit of pruning and weeding is sufficient.  Please bring your own garden tools.

Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.  More information from Clifford Bosley – cjbcibac@hotmail.com / 01865 407482 or Sally Duff – richsal2000@yahoo.co.uk / 07899 097612.
