The Parish Council will be hosting an Open Morning on Saturday 5th September between 9:30am and noon in the Village Hall.
Residents are invited to have their say on the future of our community. If there are projects, improvements or changes that you would like to see in the village, go along and discuss your ideas with the councillors.
Free coffee, tea and cakes will be available.

Dear Friends.
One “project” the PC needs help with is how we should look after The Pound.
There used to be a small group who would give it a thorough tidy up twice a year.
The group no longer meets and so the PC has been considering what might be best for the future.
Should we clear it and plant grass?
Perhaps not a good option if this year’s heat returns in future years
Should we tidy up the ground cover plants and cut back the trees and put in more ground cover or perhaps some stone to suppress the weeds?
