Bonfire Night Volunteers Needed

The Bonfire Night Team writes …

We’re thrilled that Village Bonfire Night is returning on Saturday 1st November on Ward’s Field (the big field behind the Pendon Museum).

It’s always a magical evening — with a roaring bonfire, delicious BBQ, mulled wine, twinkling lights, and a spectacular fireworks display.  The event is run entirely by volunteers, and we’d love for you to be part of the team that makes it happen.

Whether you can help in the lead-up, on the day, or with the clear-up, there’s a role for everyone.  It’s a great way to meet neighbours, make friends, and be part of something special in the village.

Volunteer Roles We’re Looking For:

Marshalls – Guide guests, manage parking, and help keep the field safe.

BBQ Crew – Cook and serve hot dogs, burgers and pulled pork with a great view of the fireworks.

Set-Up & Clear-Away – Help prepare the site on Saturday and tidy up on Sunday.

Are they silent fireworks or do I need to DRUG my pets AGAIN?
