Oxfordshire County Council is again offering its annual free electric blanket testing for residents during September and October.
The electric blanket tests are normally very popular, with places limited, so they must be pre-booked by phoning 01865 895999 or emailing duty.officer@oxfordshire.gov.uk

Monday 18th September – Oxford City
Tuesday 19th September – South Oxfordshire
Wednesday 20th September – Cherwell
Thursday 21st September – West Oxfordshire
Friday 22nd September – Vale of White Horse
Monday 2nd October – Oxford City
Tuesday 3rd October – South Oxfordshire
Wednesday 4th October – Cherwell
Thursday 5th October – West Oxfordshire
Friday 6th October – Vale of White Horse
Testing electric blankets has taken place in Oxfordshire for over tenty years. The failure rate is still around 30%, emphasising why it is so important to get them checked regularly.
