Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust has asked the Parish Council to promote its annual Health Research Showcase event.
It will take place on Thursday 29th May 2025 at Leiden Square, Westgate Centre, Oxford from 10am to 3.30pm.
The Health Research Showcase is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the broad range of healthcare research taking place in Oxford and how it translates into real benefits for NHS patients.
The family-friendly event offers the chance to visit over 35 interactive stands and find out about the latest research into health conditions including anxiety and depression, mental health development of babies and children, vaccines, dementia, endometriosis and lung disease.
Attendees will have the opportunity to try out diagnostic equipment including microscopes and ultrasound machines, play educational games and learn more about clinical studies they could volunteer for.
This is a public event and no registration is required.
