The HIF1 Infrastructure Project is expected to start construction early next year. The project will deliver four main elements:
(1) The creation of a dual carriageway east of Milton Interchange.
(2) A new single-carriageway road and bridge over the A4130, Great Western Main Line, and Milton Road.
(3) A new single carriageway link road connecting Didcot and Culham, including a new bridge over the River Thames.
(4) A new bypass to the north of Clifton Hampden village.
Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) has announced that it will be hosting five drop-in events where members of the public can view designs for all the sections of the scheme and learn about the emerging construction programme. The events will also provide an opportunity for people to ask questions and discuss any concerns with the project team.
