Thames Water has announced that it is imposing a hosepipe ban (also known as a Temporary Usage Ban) from Thursday 23rd July.
The ban applies to those who receive their water supply from Thames Water.
A fine of up to £1,000 can be imposed on those who breach the rules.

Please be reminded that some people are exempt from the hose pipe ban, if on the priority Service. With a disability, blue badge or long-term illness. Just want to bring to people’s attention . So that people are asked, before they reported. As I for one know Im on this list .

A hosepipe can be used to water food crops at domestic premises or private allotments. This is only if it cannot be reasonably done by a watering can.
