A big thank you to the more than thirty people, including at least ten youngsters, who turned out for the Litter Pick last Saturday (8th March) morning to help keep our village looking beautiful.
Over thirty sacks of rubbish were collected (see below). The valiant pickers enjoyed delicious lemon drizzle cake with tea and coffee in the Village Hall afterwards.
Thanks to Clifford Bosley for organising it, and Gay Ogg for the cake.
It was lovely to see some young residents helping with the litter pick many thanks to them for showing community spirit.
Special mention to Des from Wessex Way who litter picked all the rubbish flytipped in the Didcot Road lay-by.
