Thanks to everyone who turned out for the Village Litter Pick last Saturday (3rd October) morning to help keep our village looking tidy.
Many bags of rubbish were collected from all parts of the village (see below) and six fly tipping sites on the Little Wittenham Road and the road to Clifton Hampden were reported to South Oxfordshire District Council.
Special thanks to Clifford Bosley for organising the event and to the Village Hall Committee for making the hall available for the morning.
Clifford has been running the Spring and Autumn Litter Picks in the village since 2011 and he would like to find somebody to take over from him. If you would be interested in taking this on, contact Clifford at cjbcibac@hotmail.com.
