Residents will have seen posts on this website about the various proposals to reorganise local government in Oxfordshire.
The Oxfordshire Association of Local Councils (OALC) has produced a very useful summary which explains and contrasts the three proposals that have so far been put forward.
The decision on local government reorganisation across England, including Oxfordshire, will be made by the Government in 2026 and new councils are expected to be created in 2028.
